Is the tryout really free?
Yes, tryouts are completely free. No payment is required to participate; you just need to register online. You’ll only pay if your child is offered and accepts a roster spot for the Academy teams 2025-2026 season.
Who can attend, and how are groups split in tryouts?
Tryouts are open to boys and girls ages 7 to 18. All timing and eligibility details are clearly outlined on the Tryouts Info page. Players are grouped by age and skill level for development by our professional coaching staff.
Where are tryouts held?
Tryout sessions are held at following field location. The field for tryouts is:

How are players evaluated by Coaches?
Players are assessed on ball control, decision-making, and footwork, just like in Academy sessions. Evaluations are conducted by professional staff, all of whom are introduced on the Charlotte Rise FC Coaches page.
